“In my opinion, the trip should have been cancelled by the operator due to rough seas. I’m an experienced boater and the seas were 3-4 feet in heavy chop with no discernible wave pattern and 15 knots of wind. Basically, we got beat up out there for the whole excursion. If it was flat calm it would have been fine, but it wasn’t. I’m an older guy but my companion isn’t and we are still sore 2 days later. My advice is to wait until the day before to make a booking after looking at weather and wind forecasts.”
